Pick up time at 8.30 am.
Hotel pick up time is at 8.30 am. the old city of Chiang Mai to visit the city’s most famous temples. The first stop will be Wat Chiang Man which was built by Meng Rai in 1297 as the first temple of Chiang Mai on the location of Wiang Nopburi, a fortified town of the Lawa people which had been used by King Meng Rai as a camp during the construction of his new capital city Chiang Mai.
The second temple, we will go to Wat Chedi Luang which was built between the 14th and 15th centuries. This impressive temple has the largest stupa in Chiang Mai. Walking around the sprawling compound, you will have the chance to see striking Lanna-style design. And the first start on your walking tour will be from Wat Chedi Luang to Wat Phra Singha
Next, visit Wat Phra Singh temple. This stunning building built in the 14th century is one of Chiang Mai’s finest temples. With amazing grounds, mosaic-inlaid sanctuary, large Lion Buddha statue and gilded pagodas, there’s a photo opportunity waiting around every corner
After that, the last stop is to visit Wat Sri Supan, a unique and exquisite modern interpretation of traditional Lanna design. Architectural marvel was built entirely by the skilled traditional workers from the local community, inside and out, is being covered with silver. Crafted out of silver and aluminums, the Silver Temple sits within the silversmith district and showcases intricate work of the local people. And after that, go back to the hotel.
