PRIVATE TOUR / FULL DESCRIPTION
Hotel pickup is at 7.30 am. at your hotel and depart from Chiang Mai. Journey towards Chiang Rai, stopping at the hot springs of Mae Kachan to relax, dip your feet into steaming mineral water, have a walk around the gardens.
After that, we will continue driving to visit the White Temple or Wat Rong Khun, the modern architectural masterpiece known as the White Temple. Explore this fantastical space that was designed and built by a famous Thai artist, Chaloemchai Khositphiphat. Wat Rong Khun is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparking in the sun.
12.00-13.00 pm. Enjoy Thai lunch at a famous restaurant.
Then, we will visit Lotus Temple or Wat Huay Pla Kang which is known for its unique architecture, built in Chinese-Lanna style with white walls. The pagoda is towering 9 stories tall with a pyramid shape. One of the main attractions of the extraordinary temple is the Big Buddha called Guan Yin.
After that, the next temple we will visit is Blue Temple or Wat Rong Seue Ten. According to the saying from the old folks saying that at that time, there were not too many houses and people living in that area and there were many wild animals especially many tigers. The villagers passing by this area often saw the tigers jumping across the channel, causing it called: Rong Seue Ten”. The most distinctive feature of this religious complex is the temple. The primary color tone used is cerulean blue with gold contrast making the temple outstanding. On the way back to Chiang Mai, we will visit the “Union of Hill Tribe Village and Longneck Karen” And after that, we will head to Chiang Mai and arrive the hotel at 20.00pm.
