- PRIVATE TOUR / FULL DESCRIPTION Hotel pick-up is at 8.00am. Your memorable journey starts with picking you up from the hotel before an hour drive east into the mountains to Mae Kampong, the first stop will be at the local morning market in Chiang Mai city. Then we and drive for an hour to continue the journey up into stunning Mae Kampong village nestled among the towering mountains and enjoy a wander around the network of streets before the jungle hike begins. The hike takes you along a secluded 3km trail through the forest, which is seldom visited and not well known except to locals. We and see one of the oldest trees in Chiang Mai, and the local guide will explain about the flora and fauna along the way. After the hike, we and head to Mae Kampong waterfall and enjoy the refreshing water and soothing atmosphere. Finally, we will stop for a cup of locally grown coffee in one of the quaint Cafe and have lunch in the village before returning to the city to round off a memorable experience.After lunch, we’ll continue to San Kamphaeng Hot Springs for relaxation and egg-boiling. San Kamphaeng Hot Springs are the hot spring which are totally natural. They are set amidst a beautiful park with colorful flowers. The water temperature can reach 100 degrees Celsius. You can sit at the pool and soak your feet. Also, buying some eggs to boil in the hot water should also be on your to-do list. Just carefully hang basket full of eggs and dip it into the water. Then, keep waiting for around 3-5 minutes. Actually, it depends on the level you would like the eggs to be boiled. Try them with the soy sauce and the taste will be extremely delicious!Moreover, San Kamphaeng Hot Springs also offer massage service, mineral baths and a mineral swimming pool with a towel. There are so many amazing benefits of mineral baths since minerals can detox the body. Your skin will be so smooth and healthy after relaxing in the mineral pool. After relaxation and egg-boiling, we’ll head back to the city and drop you off at the hotel approximately at 16.00 pm.
