DAY 1.  Start from Chiang Mai Hotel pick up time is at 8.00 am (_/ L /_)

Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and then we will direct to Chiang Rai. You can sit back and relax in the air-conditioned transportation and the drive will take around 1 hour to arrive at Mae Khachan Hot sp a view on the highest geyser in Thailand. Discover Wat Rong Khun, a modern architectural masterpiece a modern architectural masterpiece known as the White Temple. Explore this fantastical space and admire its unique decor made of glass, sculptural pieces and murals, all designed by a famous Thai artist, Chaloemchai Khositphiphat.

12.00-13.00 pm. After visiting the White Temple, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon after lunch, we will visit the Lotus Temple or Wat Haew Pla Kang, which is known for its unique architecture, built in Chinese-Lanna style with white walls. The pagoda is towering 9 stories tall with a pyramid shape. One of the main attractions of the extraordinary temple is the Big Buddha called Guan Yin. Next stop, we will visit Blue Temple or Wat Rong Suea Ten (Temple of Tigers Leaping over Channel) which is located on the banks of the Mae Kok River, the east of the city municipality, not very far from the city. The most distinctive feature of this religious complex is the temple, which was constructed and designed by a local Chiang Rai artist. The primary color tone used is cerulean blue with gold contrast making the temple stands out. Contemporary Buddhist art reflects the dharma of the Buddha. And there is a white Buddha statue about 5 meters wide and 6.5 meters tall inside the temple.

After that, we will continue to the ancient Baan Dam Museum (Black House) built by Thawan Duchanee, the national artist. It has crocodile skins and animal bones on display in really cool formats and buildings. It has numerous sets of furniture and artwork throughout. After Baan Dam visiting, we will drive to the hotel in Chiang Rai.

DAY 2: The Golden Triangle, Chiang Sean, Chui Fong Tea Plantation & Long Neck Hilltribe Karen

In the morning, check out from hotel in Chiang Rai and we will drive to up North in Chiang Rai to the Land of the Golden Triangle, where the Border between Thailand, Myanmar and Laos is and this is the natural main frontier of Mae Khlong River. You can see the meeting point panorama view of the mountainous border regions of Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand.

Then we will visit the “House of Opium”, a privately-owned museum, with the story and display about the opium trade in the past that tells stories of opium in the Golden Triangle. Through beautiful antiques such as opium harvesting knives, scales, weights, pipes, mats and pillows, these tools represent the beliefs, cultures, traditions, and magnificent imagination of the Burmese, Shan, Chinese and tribal inventors in Thailand as well as the history of the region where the three countries meet.

After that, we will continue to the sightseeing and discover the history of Chiang Sean, the ancient city, which is located along Mekong River with a stop by Wat Chedi Luang to explore the temple reflected traditional Chiang Sean style.

Then, we will continue to Choui Fong Tea Plantation at Doi Mae Salong Mountain, time for relaxing with the good atmosphere and nice weather with the large tea plantations. A Beautiful tea field where we could take a good breath and apart from the scenic view of tea field, it now becomes a place for desserts, wide option of desserts with the green tea ingredient. And after Choui Fong Tea Plantation, we will drive to local restaurant to have lunch.

After lunch, we will continue to Mae Chan district visiting Long Neck Karen Tribes. Visit the Union of Hill Tribes Village, where the diversity of hill tribes come together. And Visit Long Neck Karen Tribe Women. The Karen is a tribal group who have historically lived in the hills in Myanmar (Burma) side of the Thai border. While the Karen men are mainly field workers and farmers, the women have a rich history of crafting from wood carving to weaving. Overall, the Long Neck Tribes live with a rugged, tedious, and simple lifestyle, it is a real-life National Geographic Magazine experience to have to see to believe.

Drive back to Chiang Mai. It will take around 3 hours and you will arrive Chiang Mai at 20.00 pm. reaching to your hotel safely.
